Even Saab GB Brings In The The Administrators

Filed under: general — admin @ 2:25 pm

We may forget that what is happening in Sweden also affects other parts of the world and so  Saab GB which employs 55 people has put itself into voluntary administration.

The Swedish administrator want to apply to finish the protection the Swedish company has from bankruptcy, this is to happen the next week. If this is successful and new finance cannot be raised, this may Saab operation, so until finance is raised in the Sweden, the UK administration looks after what is happening back in the UK.

Saab GB is responsible for UK dealerships as well as car part distribution. As this continues warranties are still being honoured and part supplies are still in place, with supplies still being delivered from Sweden.

Days To Avoid Bankruptcy

Filed under: general — admin @ 1:28 pm

We are back in the same place again with Saab where has been reported that  600m euros need to be found within days to avoid bankruptcy.

Protection from such a fate had been sanctioned back in September, but it now looks like that protection is being challenged and unless money is raised or at least some guarantees, it may be that previous court ruling will be changed and Saab will see its last days in motor production.

There are discussions regarding loans and ownership, which have been fought by General Motors in the past, as previous owners they still licence certain technology, specifically at Zhejiang Youngman wanting to own some of Saab, but it looks that if loans are secured from China, agreement form GM may not be needed.

Once again we wait to see if this great Swedish car manufacturer will survive difficult times and if it does, will it keeps its roots.

Not Quiet The End For SAAB

Filed under: general — admin @ 11:21 am

It looks like the Swedish courts have save SAAB for the time being of becoming bankrupt and the brand moves on once again. It is something that the UK just let go that motoring heritage that dominated the world. Not the UK still make cars for lots of brands, but probably only one that is back to be UK owned. so it is not quite end of the road.

The challenges of a car manufacture are well beyond country wide, even when GM motors owned it, the Saab became an upmarket VAUXHALL Vectra, sharing many of its parts and chassis. It is a shame because this Swedish car really does offer something different in design and although really doesn’t match up to the BME’s and Merc’s of the world, they always were just that bit different.

The chalenge of course is the consumer who does not want to buy a car that will depreciate like hell should the firm go under and of course the company needs more sales to really survive. catch 22. You can’t image that in 20 years time the last Saabs will be nothing more than  scrap cars, as they don’t go far enough to be deemed as valuable enough to keep on the road, until we get down to very low numbers of course.

There should still be a good supply of car parts with the relationship with GM and others, so there will not be an issue with keeping these cars running, but of course technology moves very quickly and it does tend to be harder or not worth keeping the larger cars on the road as they get older.  We hope that a saviour comes along to invest in the company, but in these uncertain time, don’t hold your breath.

The Importance Of Search Engine Optimisation to Saab

Filed under: Uncategorized — sunil @ 10:45 am

Saab have announced a unique accreditation for all SEO and online marketing firms that it uses.

Any SEO company that works with Saab must now be inspected by the Swedish manufacturer and be approved as a Certified Lead Management Provider (CLMP). The standard also applies to software used by the firms which must also be fully authorised and accredited by Microsoft. The announcement follows on from an initiative by Mitsubishi who developed a similar program earlier in April.

The CLMP enforces the importance and development of Search Engine Optimisation and online marketing in the automotive industry, and how the consolidate the dealers marketing to drive forward both the dealerships internal marketing and internal management.

The introduction of these policies has also help enforce the growth of Saab since it was acquired from General Motors by German manufacturers Spyker in late January 2010, the rumoured approval of an emergency funding deal with Chinese firm Hawtai Motors has also set in motion further investments in the marketing department by Saab.

With the world economy still recovering online marketing is taking pole position as the number one method of promotion in the automotive industry due to both the price of digital advertising space and its massive success in other sectors.

Filed under: Saab Lease, Uncategorized — sunil @ 2:42 pm

The Saab 9-5, which is a huge car with lots of leg room and space, comfortable interiors, and turbo engines that deliver a good performance, can be ideal if you want a stable ride on the motorways. Whether you want to purchase or go for a Saab 9 5 car lease, you will get an economical, reliable and safe deal.

Leasing cars has become popular in the UK during recession as not many people could afford purchasing one. Now-a-days, there are a number of car leasing companies in the market that offer attractive and affordable Saab 9 5 car lease options not just for individuals but also businesses that are still recovering from the economic downturn.

One of the major advantages businesses can enjoy from leasing cars is lesser sales tax on all the vehicles hired on contract, as the sales tax is payable by the lessee only for the duration of the lease period. Another advangtage of leasing is that the business does not have to worry about disposing or reselling vehicles that are not needed any more.

Also, there are no hassles of repair or maintenance as the new cars leased come with a company warranty and are returned before the warranty expires. These advantages along with the flexi lease options that are both convenient and affordable, make the Saab 9 5 car lease a smart choice, especially for businesses.

Filed under: Saab Lease — sunil @ 2:39 pm

The Saab 9 3 is a premium sedan that comes in three styles –a four door sedan, and a 2 door convertible and a 4 door wagon known as the SportCombi. No matter which model you want, the affordable Saab 9 3 car lease options available today can help you get one. But to make sure you’re getting into the right car hire contract, you need to ensure three things.

First is the term or duration of the lease. It can range anywhere from 12 moths to 3 years but before choosing a long term lease, be sure that you want to drive the car for so long. Second, consider the cost you are going to incur. This includes acquisition fee, registration fee, security deposit, monthly lease amounts etc. While the fees and deposits have to be paid at the time of signing the lease agreement, the instalment for your Saab 9 3 car lease is paid on a monthly basis.

Finally, have a clear understanding of the lease agreement clauses. Check the restrictions on number of miles you can travel, what all are covered under ‘wear and tear’ and the additional charges you have to bear for it. Also, find out the charges you need to pay in case of early termination of the lease and take the Saab 9 3 car lease only if you are comfortable with all the terms and conditions.

Looking At Saab Salvage

Filed under: repair — admin @ 1:30 pm

There are many businesses and individuals who buy and sell car salvage in order to make a profit or just to own a vehicle they may not have been able to afford without the time and effort. Choosing the right makes and models for a salvage project is also something worth knowing, which is probably why many choose Saab salvage other other makes. Depreciation is one factor, whilst the work is going on you don’t want the floor falling though on prices, another reason has got to be the availability of parts and Saab certainly have a network of dealers with a good parts list. However getting used or second hand Saab parts is not so easy, as these vehicles do tend to last a long while, remember they are made to withstand the Swedish winters so a bit of snow or rain that we get in the UK, is no problem. the plus side to this is that even older Saabs are worth repairing, so most accident Saabs find their way into salvage auctions, knowing there will be a demand to buy. Like all makes choosing the right salvage Saab project is important, so do your research find out which parts are easy to get hold of and which aren’t, then avoid car salvage projects that need these hard to get parts. As far as selling your repaired Saab, this should not be an issue, as Saabs are still will in demand.
